What a lovely event.
You were given a choice to sing or do something else for one simple reason. While the dancing may have been super embarrassing for you, you didn't have to walk up to someone and do it, so I had little concern for you. With the singing, you had to approach people and follow them while singing. I mean, I could see someone being really apprehensive about that.
And my disappearance? Think kidnapped by international spies. While in Uruguay. I've secured release though.
Your last email is still valid, I will send a reply to you asking if you still wish to participate, all you have to do is confirm. You will be informed of the dates. I am actually going to send out a poll to everyone involved and pick the dates for cities based on popularity. You will recieve that tonight, or in the morning, depending on your time zone.
I will attempt to give SF another chance, though it will be my lowest priority city, as I have already given SF a chance once. Most likely, if they do, it'll be on the 27th, and it's completely hinged on time constraints.
The reschedule date is tenatively set for May13th. (I do pick a weekday for a valid reason, I assure you. Three valid reasons actually.)
I hope that those whom have received instructions already enjoyed themselves, and I hope that my rushing to put together those few didn't dampen the overall feel too much.
To all others, I apologize that I had to reschedule, but I have not forgotten you, nor have I abandoned you. I've opened the event back up to new sign ups also.
In response to this, I recieved multiple emails from people about the lost dogs. One of whom ended up checking out SfØ. They were humerous. I was told that my dog was seen rampaging around downtown, and that someone had strapped a death laser to his head, and they were sorry to tell me that they think he's gone mad. I was also told that they found my dog, but it looked too delicious with syrup so they ate it and apologized.
And with the person you were calling....there was a specific point to that. Everyone that said they were going to play was giving them a tidbit of instructions, and it was all going to add up to something. Though, since we had a lot of people not show up, some of the instructions didn't get delivered. Luckily, enough of the instructions were delivered to make it work still somehow. I think some of the players that didn't come might have still made thier phone calls.
