The Labeling Compulsion by Insomniac Walking, Orange Rose hopes of peace, Sarah

December 6th, 2007 1:17 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Compulsively label things, in your home and in places of business.

Bri, Sam, Sarah, and Marygrace took post-its to most of the Homan common areas, and even each other.

Slideshow of many many labelled objects.

We shall see how many remain tomorrow. And how many people we confused with the overabundance of post-it notes.

EDIT: Put up the "BEST OF" pics and left the link if you would like to view all 60 pictures.

Further update: As of today, many still remain, including the "Pole too big for dancing" label

FINAL EDIT!!!: In the end most of the labels stayed around the dorms for a better part of two days. The longest lasting label was of course our greatest triumph in the "pole to big for dancing" shortly after I was told by my bosses to remove all labels since we had an inspection later that day, so alas they had to come down. But we were proud and will continue to label things just because we can.

Somewhere behing that link there is something that requires me to run the flash player. I'm guessing there are pictures involved.

Could you perhaps post the pictures here, in the task, seeing as it's so easy to do and makes viewing your completion more natural?

there is around 60 pictures which is why we attempted to use a slide show...
I will get on the reposting of the pictures.

If you don't want to post all of them, a "best of" collection and link to the slideshow would also work. You'll get more votes if you don't make people jump through hoops to see what you did.

I like how you went beyond simple identification and decided to provide additional information in most of the labels. :)
