Um.
1. I don't see proof that P.P. actually "worked" during the night, nor is P.P. a plant.

It's a really cute completion, but it's not for this task, nor is it 75 points worth. Apologies for raining on parades.

Actually, it's easier than you think.

Dear Inky,

You make rational comments and I just want to steal your way of writing things, because I feel like it.

love,

Ben

Dear Ben,

There's something charming in the missive style, isn't there?

Dear Tricia,

With a few exceptions, the highest point values for tasks are around 125 points. 75 points is nothing to sneeze at. Although occasionally tasks seem to be mis-placed pointwise, you can often compare a task to other tasks at the same level and get an idea of what the effort level of a task should be. Now, that said, you are more than welcome to claim that successfully making a photosensitive plant work on other hours is much harder than the other 75 point tasks, and should be a higher level task. That's a viable discussion to have!

Technically, I suppose you have demonstrated that you "convinced" the plant to work a night shift. However, considering this is a Chrononautic Exxon task, it would be a little odd to not actually have time factor into the completion... Again. It is cute. I find it charming. But I thought I'd voice my reservations.

Now. I know I'm an old fuddy duddy. You are more than welcome to tell me you don't agree with me, and I won't take it personally, nor will I flag your completion. I'm not "anti-creativity", nor am I trying to pick on you. I'm an old fuddy-duddy, and I do this thing occasionally, where I discuss completions. I'll hold my tongue now. Again- my apologies for being a stick-in-the-mud.

Love,
Inky

Well, to Lincoln's point: I don't have any first hand experience, but I believe home marijuana growers do this kind of thing all the time. (no really, I don't have any first hand experience; this is not a "disclaimer")

I'm voting, and I'm doing it because I like it when people try to find interesting ways around and through and between the words of the task... to hold true to and do something totally unintended by those words at the same time. It is clear to me that Tricia has done that here (though all points should go toward her snide grouposis rather than ce).

plus points for calling Jon, "Burnie".
