Calend'art by Tricia Tanaka

January 29th, 2008 9:33 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a radically different calendar as a gift for another person. The calendar must be coherent and useful but may not track days or months in any standard way.

If you give it an eighth-turn to the left, it's just the standard 1-31 calendar and in the normal order, too... but I dig the artwork.

I love that the days go in diagonal order. Clever!

"give it an eighth turn" I mean whaaaa? Everyone has so many of these lying around, with a little hole punched up in the corner for convenient hanging or something, yeah?

I like it!

Perhaps a velcro/blu-tack player piece to track the current day?

Spiders don't make me happy.

I don't see why.
Spiders kill the bad stuff.
The spider sends the message "If someone is bothering you, capture them and drink their blood". Very happy.
