Fight the Future by The Animus

July 6th, 2008 10:31 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Destroy a clock. Document.

Update: Forgot the music. Always needs music. Guess the song!

It doesn't take much to fight the future.
In fact, all it took was a large hammer.
But in order to truly fight the future, I decided to hold on to an old pastime and old memories in a style that, to me, represent summer -- when summer had more meaning than sunburn, long hours at work, and rising gas prices (which is more of a constant, now).

I started out with a test, using some legally acquired raw materials.

The test went as follows:

Afterwards, I used part of a Pringles can as a home for the boomy stuff.

Though the blast was nice, this was a hardy clock. I succeeded in destroying the clock -- the inner workings of it were all over the yard -- however, the clock still stood upright. Taking note of my bad camera work, I acquired an NPC to finish off the clock in a manner that would still satisfy my inner child.

And now it's just a face.

I'm scared by your pyrotechnical skills.
And your loughter when hacking the clock.

Figured as much. Good thing I know who I am (and I've read the disclaimer). :: grins ::
Glad you enjoyed.
