(Un)necessary Forgery by Amby D

July 26th, 2010 11:02 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Apply manual forgery techniques to a work of art that is easily reproduced.

For example, forge a piece of music, or a poem. Fight digital reproduction by making distinct but exact(-ish) copies. Is your forgery good enough to fool anyone?

My family played a lot of Hearts (the card game) in the evenings when I was growing up.

The Queen of Spades is the most vicious of all cards.

I honor her here.

I love how detailed you were about it (which, I suppose, one would need for a good forgery... but still - it speaks to your abilities and general notions about how to "get things done").

:)

Way to go...I've never looked at a card so closely before.

me neither! i really had no idea how many crazy details were in a "face card", even though i've spent a lifetime of playing with them. odd
