...my only displeasure with this task is your incessant insistence that you cannot draw.

that's definitely a pet peeve of mine when someone says they "cannot draw" in an incredibly visually 'accurate' sense, because it does not in any way mean they cannot draw.

there are so many really genuine and honestly quite pleasing moments of color you've created in your drawings, and even if they aren't strictly representational by your standards Sombrero Guy, i ask you to respect these drawings and the beauty they do contain.

plus, i'm sure you had plenty fun completing this task, sure looks like a damn fun project!

I attempted to send the vibrator disguised as Sutro Tower to Lincoln.

the first post office i tried to send it from, the ladies working the counter thought it was a rocket, it was really hard not to laugh!

they refused to send it though, claiming it would damage the other mail o_o

monkey hero tried really hard and went to at least four other post offices before just trying the 'real address as return address' trick and dropping it in a mailbox with a shit ton of postage stamps... i should have told him to wait for his visit to LA - it might actually have worked in that case.

i would like to think it's sitting on a shelf of 'wtf' items in the local mail sorting facility.

Ben Yamiin recently did a little more than ponder this

mine received as well. had it read aloud at a gathering of myself, ben yamiin, kristinawithak, tak haberdash & monkeyhero. we were all very impressed by your tale.

if she really only wanted to task with people she *knows* then she wouldn't have made a public event :)
