Tasking across a thousand miles, a year in planning, a dedicated online used bookstore hunt, an oversized roll of newsprint nicked from a newspaper office and duct taped to a suitcase in airline checked baggage, three boxes of crayons and several hours on a Burning Man Regional Event playa with the help of random strangers, we epically bring you approximately 384 square feet of the opening chapter of Finland's national epic: the Giant Kalevala Colouring Book. As translated from Children's Book English into less censored English, and LOLCat.

Eidhnean notes that she did the bulk of the English lettering upside down (and thereby also backward) for the extra challenge of it [read: simply because sie can]. Also, the resultant letterforms were more interesting when viewed in the usual orientation.
