Placepoem by Robert Warren

May 18th, 2012 10:20 AM / Location: 43.212391,-87.90037

INSTRUCTIONS: Write a poem about your favorite place, by only assembling text you find in that place.

1. Go to the place you want to write a poem about.
2. Find some text. E.g. street signs, advertising posters, graffiti, garbage etc.
3. Document the text you find - take pictures, or just note down what you find and where.
4. Cut and paste until you have a poem.
5. Post it here, along with documentation of the texts and the place.

Rules: You may insert three words which are your own (that you have not found on the location).

(Disclaimer: This task is inspired by the textopia research project, textopia.org . If you find it interesting, please put your poem there as well (and a sound recording of it), and a special place in heaven will be reserved for you!)

We all must be leashed.
Have you seen your County jail?
ddddfsuch fine conduct
ddddfsuch disorderly business
ddddfsuch lewd, wanton, obscene cooperation.
A quarantine has been placed
ddddfto protect the costs of prosecution,
ddddfto keep any person unlawful,
killing tens of millions along the way.

Help us look for these signs!
- Dieback of the dogs
- Metallic bullet holes
- Any environmental violation
- Galleries of the violent, abusive, or vulgar

Human regulations,
ddddfan exotic insect.
ddddf"Park closed sunset to 6 AM"
ddddf"Dogs must be leashed"
Not True.
Life depends on it.
It.
on these trees and nearby flowers
on the movement of soil
on the breach of the peace.
This emerald beetle!
ddddfintoxicated on imprisonment and regulations
ddddfuntil an official kind of enjoyment been established.
Help this bluff.
Keep rules off.
Keep regulation away.
A park has no hours.
A park cannot be closed.

This is good.
But I want to see every word of the poem.
Or if you have every word of the poem, then I want that fact to be more clear to me.
