Love letters written on the spot to the Sutro Tower on large lables and adhered to the fence at the very closest place we could find to the tower without getting busted by the guard. We put flowers next to the letters and felt like nervous nerds asking the cool girl to prom. The TOWER, man. Its like the biggest celebrity in my SF landmarks list, especially with SF0.

Bex's letter:
Dear Tower,
I love you. I love the way you look like a ladder to heaven when the fog covers your sweet face. Will a giant climb down you one day?
i love the way you don't try to be elegant, but you don't hide the way you slash into the skyline. Your bold practicality lends you a surprising, unselfconscious beauty. Oh logo covergirl of SF0, i love the way you make my cityscape even more distinct.
I love to imagine all the information flowing through you everyday.
I love the quiet disco glamor of your blinking lights.
All this and I'd still rather watch you than the T.V. you selflessly toil to bring me.

One thousand apologies my love. I never meant what i said about your current television programming. In truth, i love your channels more than the salty sea winds which blow about your sturdy cables every night and day. i hope you can find it in your processors to forgive me.
