I unblocked the spammer who pinged me a few months ago on AOL Instant Messenger. It took a few days, but finally, I got a bite. And found out something very interesting about this spammer...
First, for the record, I found this initial contact in my chat history.

A good start, but I think technically what you corresponded with was the spam, not the spammer.
