INSTRUCTIONS: Take a pair of shoes; artify them. Tie the laces together and throw them over a telephone line (or otherwise install them in public).

It was a dark and stormy night in Wasilla and I had a pair of old shoes that were awful for my feet.... What better time for a Dead Shoe Revival? Here's how I turned an old pair of shoes into something useful.

Foot death.. I mean shoes

I got these shoes 4 years ago and they turned out to be the worst shoes I ever owned. They gave me blisters so fast back when I got them that by my fourth class of the day I was getting in trouble for not wearing them in the halls. They have been sitting useless in my closet ever since.

A roof and two pencils later and I had something someone could enjoy!

The other shoe is also be fun. With a broken gold chain for decoration my bird shoe was ready to hang!

Shoe hanging

I decided the best place I could hang the shoe was the entrance to my neighborhood which is on a busy street. so I walked down the block and examined the options, I didn't want to throw it too high or I would not be able to restock it with birdseed, too low and it would be silly.
