Install a hammock by Rin Brooker, Thor
June 12th, 2012 5:03 PM
This is the yellow task in the rainbow task competition between TX0 Pixie and I. It was due to be posted last week but since Pixie had to travle and didn't have her hammock I gave her another week. Looks like I win this round!
The color yellow is a symbol of many things, one of which is friendship. This gave Thor and I an idea! Why not hang a hammock with a friend who knows a thing or two about hammocks? Only one person we knew could take that role, Hammock Master Fletcher! (a non-player... for now) He's been sleeping in and hanging up hammocks for as long as he's had any say in the matter.
We picked up Fletcher and took him for a ride to find a place. The location we settled on was a grassy lawn by the campus art building. Fletcher taught us a thing or two about good knots to hang hammocks with and then we all tried it out. The only problem was a huge swarm of giant mosquitoes. They don't call it the Alaska state bird for nothing

I like it
I will follow suit as soon as I have a hammock
Which might be awhile
Seeing as I seem to suck at deadlines
and also periods at ends of thoughts/sentences
I give you votes and props though, and soon I shall have something awesome to show for myself.
Hugs from the hippie commune in the woods

How has the hammock been doing? Are people using it? Are they happy about it?

Better luck next time. Still happy that you were the first to do this. :)
Guerilla hammocks to the rescue!
Good job.
That certainly is an installed hammock.
Good to see Alaska back in action.
