Designated Sponge Bath Area by Rin Brooker
August 24th, 2009 10:12 PMMusic for your reading pleasure (enlarge pictures before starting)
This task gave me so many ideas it was hard to choose. In the end I decided to take the path that would lead me back to my old high school for as day before I move away.
If there is one thing I remember about the halls of Wasilla High School it's that they were always filled with music during lunch. so I showed up just before lunch and placed some signs in the places where I have the best memories of bad food, great music, and even better friends.
During first lunch I found four of my places occupied by guitarists, during second lunch I was confused to find none until I stumbled upon the music room and found them all in class.
While my heart was lightened to find that the music of Wasilla High School still flows in first lunch I was just as saddened to hear nothing but voices in the halls during second. It's a scheduling change that's not for the better.
I chose paper signs so as not to deface the place. Knowing that school my signs will stay up all year.

I love it! ^_^ I would like a designated musician area.

That was a nice demonstration of the initialization as well as the cooperation it drew - half a dozen different guitar groups and an airband FTW :D
The pictures of the signs in action are absolutely wonderful. <3
