The Unexpected by Cookie

December 24th, 2008 2:10 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Surprise yourself.

The Toaster Trick

I used to do this for fun even before I knew of SF0. I am easily entertained ,-)

Unfortunatelly the new toaster my parents in law (whom I live with) got is too quiet to function and I havn't done it for a while. But I am visiting my sister at Sutton Hoo and they have a Toaster I havn't tried yet. I filmed the experience for you.

You must focus on it and expect it to pop at any time, don't get distracted. Feel free to try it yourself! The best thing is that then you have breakfast afterwards.

Strictly speaking its not unexpected, but when you focus on expecting something too much it will take you by surprise becoming unexpected.

I like how that statement makes no sense at first, but then rings true.

Not the most boring video by any means. Riveting. Brilliant.

Now, say 'Here, votes votes'.

I must admit that it is already a decent amount of points for making toast. It is all good. Especially if I have got a few of you guys across the puddle to stare intently at your own toast cooking and scream of "delight" when it pops out. Disneyland in you kitchen.

I love your statement about expecting something for too long causes you not to expect it. ITS SO TRUE. IT REALLY IS.

Good task!

This was not boring, it was captivating. I spazzed about as much as you did at the end.

And hearing you go "Here, toast, toast, toast..." made my day.
