Donation by Other Means by Coreopsis Major Bloden Melen

Mostly, I did this task just to see what I would get. A while back some player friends of mine did this by requesting photos on a listserv. I decided to start by requesting photos on LJ. (LJ names have been replaced with sf0 names to protect the wacky at least a little bit. Other human persons get initials except there were two DKs and two AS's and so I went to numbers. This got a little confusing but I like consistent labeling systems. Non-human persons get full names cuz the names are too cute not to share.)
From that, I got some interesting responses. First D1 sent me a picture of her face.
Then she wrote and said, "Can I give you a picture of my dog's face?" Isn't Gnocchi cute?

Then E wrote me and said "I already donated my own face to other players, but here's Magellan (the black one) and Kiwi (the spotted one)!

And finally, B wrote and said, "Here is my face, well, my face as of 10 years ago anyway."

Still, I felt like I could do more. So on Wednesday night, at the first choir rehearsal of the semester (which was sparse because we'd had a nasty snow/ice storm that day), during the break I asked who among my fellow choristers would be willing to donate their face, in the form of a photo, for a sort of art project I was doing.
My fellow women of music came through for me. (This choir is so cool that we have running jokes about Parseltongue and haggis.)
This is D2, who is excited that we're singing music in Ladino this spring.

This is H. A., and did I remember to tell her that I think her new haircut hair color combination is HAWT? Nope. Must remember for next week.

Next is A1, who is pensive. And wearing a Pi t-shirt.

Next is A2, who is, um, expecting something?

And finally we come to S, who makes me awesome mixes.

I love my choir, yes I do! Faces donated, objective achieved. And just for S, who is a serious Potter fan, yes, mischief managed.
(I'm in danger of having that phrase become my standard benediction, am I not?)
Update: Two submissions I totally forgot when I wrote this up, and must now add!
