Audio Tour Part 1 by GYØ Ben
January 2nd, 2008 9:53 AM
So, this is my part of the GYØ Audio Tour, and just to clarify, I am in GAMESTATION.

Explicit enough?
Script:
Ben: "The general bustling of this store, err... is directly derived from the holiday folk that come and visit here. It's got wonderful, magical things in it, that I buy quite often, or from its rival shop, over the other side. Err... loud music plays on the stereo, that encourages people to buy, possibly. You can probably hear Thin Lizzy at the moment. Erm... shiny pieces of technology surround you, as well as the software on them. There's about 50, 60 people crammed in here, and there's very little room to move. Erm... sells movies, all sorts of things. There's a general rush before Christmas time because things were particularly on demand, and there's even demo models to play with. Erm... The logos and the sale signs are particularly scruffy, which I think adds an aura of homeliness to it, because erm... it's like it's not as "upmarket" as the place over the road, it's more... you know, it appeals to the more average gamer..."
Tom: "It's more, sat in a beanbag, playing, playing a SNES."
Ben: "Yeah, yeah, that's exactly it. Yes. Erm... okay then! Oh yeah. This is Gamestation."

GameStation, from the outside

Here, you can see the aforementioned "scruffy" sale signs and bustling crowds
It's actually quite small

A small shop, but it's good, all the same. I like it, and that's what counts

It seems to be some kind of requirement that scruffy game and comic shops always play Thin Lizzy songs.
"more" crap.
Was the word you were looking for.
I dont like Gamestation.
