Pilgrim's Progress by Goddess of Doom and Thievery

INSTRUCTIONS: Go on a pilgrimage.

pilgrimage:
any long journey, esp. one undertaken as a quest or for a votive purpose, as to pay homage

I've been planning this for awhile. I had a great journey. Almost 4,000 miles.

I started in Wasilla AK and went all the way down to SF itself. To pay homage to Sutro Tower in all its awesomeness.

So I set off, from gate C4. Yes. C4. The flight was four hours long, and I landed in Seattle, where I met up with my dad. We decided to spend a little extra time there and get some food. We just so happened to park on Alaskan Way, which made me laugh. We ate at the Crab Pot, where they literally dumped a bucket of food on the table for us to eat. it was very yummy.

The next stop was the Washington Coast for 4th of July. Specifically, we went to long beach. Though first we had to get wood and illegal fireworks on the reservation. In the town of Tokeland. You know what they do in their spare time.

We spent the night on the beach on the 3rd. Just a tarp, foam mattress, sleeping bag, and pillow. No tent. It was pretty nice. And the next day we went to the arcade, then to a curiosity shop. And we rode some mopeds around. There were some strange and cool things there. By the time we got back, the beach was full of people. When night came, you could see fireworks all down the beach. Big ones. We set off ours then headed to my dad's house for a day of rest.

Come monday it was time to set off again. We headed down the 101, down the coast. It was a long and arduous journey. I thought I would die of boredom. But it was pretty. The first day, we made it to Crescent City before stopping for the night, then finished our trip the next day. I was so excited to finally be there. We unhitched the trailer and headed into the city.

My dad had a lot of problems navigating. But we finally made it up the hill. I was disappointed, thought not surprise, to find a fence around the tower. I got as close as I could. I gave it a bow, a salute, and waved goodbye when it was time to go. The tower was much bigger than i thought it would be.

And so, with my 4000 mile journey over, it was time to begin my invasion. The tasking has begun.

ps
my journey took me exactly one week.
