x10 by Goddess of Doom and Thievery, Rin Brooker, Force TheOneAndOnly
July 22nd, 2009 11:25 PMRin: I've been wanting to do this task for a long time, but I needed help, I finally go the attention of Force TheOneAndOnly as this was originally supposed to be a gift for Mastermind Of Foot Thievery whom he cares about very much. on the day he was supposed to come over and help though she came over instead having already figured out cleverly what was afoot. We shopped and began the project which went pretty smoothly besides for a few technical difficulties and a run to Walmart at midnight. We finished the body together and left the work on the face up to Force TheOneAndOnly and myself a few days later. all the work resulted in a huge functional stuffed penguin like the world has never seen.
Force TheOneAndOnly: I remember what we were thinking of doing first, a giant teddy but a penguin just seemed so perfect. I sadly missed out on putting together the main parts (body and head) but was able to pitch in a lil on the face.
Mastermind: Not that it was hard to figure out.....
The sewing machine kept screwing up and it was annoying. But overall it was all good. I liked it. Very fun. And very cuddly. I had work and couldn't help with the face.
Hmmm....my thoughts are currently not working so well. So ya....I'm done now

Penguins aren't all that mundane, but this is awesome anyway.
Stuffed animals are mundane. Cuddly, but mundane.
what a wonderful, wonderful, blobby penguin decorated with skulls!
I've been vote stingy here as you've neglected to give your (admittedly perfectly functional - GIANT HUGS ^_^) giant replica penguin any flippers.
Without flippers this ginormous bird will be like the famous clown, crying on the inside ;,,,-(, as all the other sea creatures mock him for being unable to swim.
How cruel you are to create him thus, its like an avian edward scissorhands.
I'm gonna be a little bit point stingy too. As it's not an exact replica. I know it says "working replica" and not "exact replica", but I got so excited in my soul when you explained what you were gonna do to see the giant black and white penguin at the end, and every time I saw pictures of the fabric, I wondered what was up, but just assumed that was the first layer and first layers can be any color, I figured the white fuzzy fabric was going on over it. And when I saw it finished I was so disappointed that he wasn't black and white that I forgot all about the fact that you made an awesome six foot penguin. So black and white and fuzzy I guess are important to me. I'm sorry I'm so aesthematic.
Dan, thanks for reminding me about those!
Lincoln, I made them pink just for you.
HOORAY!
POINTS FOR EVERYBODY!
and for those playing along at home, the clown's name was pagliacci.
Black and white would definitely have been more recognizably penguiny, though colorful and skully has some charm too.
(For any future stuffing needs, I will offer this tip---you can get old foam mattresses really cheap, and then rip them into bits for stuffing gigantic objects w/o breaking the bank.)
Get aload of the six foot hug machine over here!
The new mood music is inspiring visions of the world under attack by the psychadelic giant penguin army.
Ok Lincoln, I turned it into a giant black&white penguin.
You get a belly laugh that confused Chloe the pooch.
Truly Magnificent, we should all have 6 foot penguins to hug in our homes.
