Get up, Take a shower, Eat Breakfast, Go to work by Sass Afrass
December 13th, 2009 6:52 PMBecause I am poor and not into supporting big chains, I thrift store shop constantly. I am also really unorganized and procrastinate doing my laundry, so I often have to sift through large piles of clothes in order to put together an outfit.
My task: to dress myself in a way I've never heard of. I decided to reach into one pile of clothes without looking and put on every single item I could without harming any of my clothes and until the point where the next few items I reached for could not fit over (or under) the layer before it without removing previous clothing.
my room - on a good day?

Because I go thrift store shopping as much as humanly possible, I have clothes strewn about my apartment, especially my room.
(not by a) long shot

this is what i have to sort through to find an outfit for the day. i'm used to it, but it can be a hassle.
this is what randomness looks like

it is literally freezing outside but i am sure i could go out without a coat. well, maybe.
changing the rules

because i couldn't wear my coat with all the clothes on, i decided to amend my original rules. i take off all the clothes that i no longer need and leave on enough clothes to go outside. in order to achieve my outfit, i have still used a technique i have never heard of, so i still have followed the rules of this task. and i like my outfit. i probably would never have put this together in the normal way i choose my clothes.
ready to wear

i am ready to go outside and pick up some food. i have done something i do every day, sometimes more than once, but in a way i have never heard of before!

I just realized! That's my sweater.... that I stole from kat. And All I can think is, *le sigh* next time you do this task, you should just wear me. I'm way better than any of my sweaters. Plus now it's like summertime in the city.

That's an interesting getting-dressed algorithm, all right!
