Rephotography by Adam, Tøm

February 24th, 2008 12:24 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Recreate a photograph that is at least a dozen years old as well as you can.

Rephotography by Tom and Adam

I think I'll mostly let the photographs talk for themselves on this task but the older photos were taken from the Norfolk County Council's web resource and are from around 1880-1910. I uploaded the photographs onto my iPod and with the aid and assistance of Tom we went about attempting to replicate them, some came out better than others and the more unsuccesful ones can be found in the praxis at the bottom, the better ones are featured here:

Camperdown, Tom's Home
Blackfriar's Tower, Camden Road
The view accross the River Yare, Ice House Quay
St Mary's Catholic Church, Regent Road

How we completed the task with my trusty iPod to line up the shots.

Wow for the flip book feeling. And the "things come and go" feeling. And the "is GY cool or what" feeling.
