This task amused me, because there are so many humorous possibilities. One in particular struck me tonight as I glanced around my room-

A few weeks ago I joined roller derby, and yesterday my skates FINALLY arrived. I spent the first half an hour or so of practice putting special speed wheels on them, and the rest of practice being overjoyed by how fast and easily I could move. I was disappointed when practice ended so soon, because I didn't want to take off my new babies, EVER. But I did, and I spent about an hour in the dorms afterward carrying them around, borrowing tools from people to put on the toe guards, making everyone in the lounge check out my awesome laces, etc. etc.

My RA, Ariel, specifically told me last night that it's against the rules for me to wear my skates inside the dorms. She's a stickler for the rules. But......
