Ethereal Cartography by Joy

June 2nd, 2012 8:19 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a map of something that does not exist physically.

I thought I would go one step beyond mapping the intangible and go for something that is temporary and cognitive.
Enjoy.

Being pregnant is a wild ride; and the mood swings can be intense. It's like nothing I've ever experienced before. So here is as good a map as I could make of my mind while pregnant.

I really like the detail in the art there.
Does the art correspond directly with the words?
Some places it seems it does, in others it seems it doesn't.

Thanks, the art is all things i drew / made / took photos of except the photo of me in the lower corner which my hubby took. Then I put it all together.

As far as the art corresponding with the words; some of it is literal, and some of it is more in feeling than a direct translation in some areas.
