INSTRUCTIONS: Don't go to work. Don't go to school.

I didn't go to work. I didn't go to school. I was tied up working on this SF0 task.

Welcome to SF0. I'm here to help. +3

Fairly often a new player will submit a completion, like this one, which is somehow incomplete. I want to explain what is missing, but SF0 defies explanation and rules, and so what I normally say is often either encouraging but without substance. I want to try something new here.

I love this game. I found out about it when I was passed a slip of paper with no explanation, just the URL. I figured out what the game had to offer by reading popular praxis, and seeing what else I could find on the site. If someone had told me what to do, I'm sure I'd have stopped playing a long time ago.

So here is what we are going to do. I am going to provide you with three links. The first one is to a collection of tasks that are considered to be awesome. The other two are like instruction manuals, the first of which was made by a pair of players to expose the bare essentials of SF0. The other player's guide was made by one player made long ago to teach other players on his "team" how to get the most votes that they could. This doesn't tell you much about the game itself, or why we do it, just how to present yourself in a fairly well liked way.

Here is a list of tasks to look over, and be amused and inspired by.

Here is a stripped-down guide to the basics of SF0.

Here is an instruction manual on how to make your tasks look like their tasks.

We look kindly on new players, and want you to see if we have anything to offer. This is about the best I can do to encourage that process.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Good Sir,
Going out of your way, taking me by the hand, pointing me in the right direction... wow! Are you the Patron Saint of SF0? If not, you should be.
I am passionate about all things creative and artistic. SF0 is a breath of fresh pleasure.
Thanks again for your kindness. I was worried someone might vote me off the island!
I will make you proud.

Mr. Morte
I am intrigued by your inquiry... and no, I am not the subject in my posted photos. I rather enjoyed the sight you suggested i check out, thank you.
Insight, is a wonderful thing. I see beauty where others see unpretty. Everyone can appreciate the painstaking task of tempering metal. Heating it until it glows a firey orange red. Manipulating it by physically pounding it into a perfect shape. Polishing the end product to a highy reflective shine. In a way, Shibari reminds me of tempering metal and i like shine. But, I love uncovering the layers of dry muddy rust caused by neglect or misuse. I find beauty in that which is forgotten, lost or damaged. Breathing life back into it. Giving it renewed life. Seeing its hidden value. SF0 will hep me expose my own brand of beautiful rust.

This proof has been flagged by 6 of your fellow players (for the benefit of all, flags are anonymous). As such, it has been automatically disapproved. Most likely, they've posted comments explaining why they're displeased. If you think you may be the victim of a bug, injustice, or a gang of Rubins, hit up the contact page.
