I visited the Chihuly Museum in downtown St. Petersburg recently, and was pleasantly surprised by the building and the people who worked there. It was interesting to wander around and notice all of the exhibits that reflected light.
The inhabitants were also interesting. The two guides told me that I couldn't take pictures in the main exhibits, which started us off on the wrong foot. But they ended up being really nice, and I talked to them for a while about Chihuly and St. Petersburg. I asked them which book to buy, and they recommended their favorite one.
The people inside the exhibits were quieter. It felt, sometimes, like we were in a cathedral or church.

You challenged yourself by getting to know the staff a little bit better, but I don't think you've truly completed this task until you're allowed to visit a part of the building that is not open to the general public.
