My friend is graduating this week and I wrote her a letter. And then I wrote her a second letter on the same page.
Red circles were added digitally, obviously. Clues are "blacklight" and "hidden messages."
There is no second page in black text, but there is another page of text in the UV ink.

I hope your friend manages to recognise the clues (and has a black light)! This is a really nice idea for a letter, and one which I may use at some point.

It was fun to do, and she was pretty excited when she finally found it. But until then, she was really disappointed with the letter - I got in contact with her a little later and she said "all you gave me was that shitty letter," at which point I hinted that there was more to it, and she got pretty excited.

I thought I left enough clues but apparently I didn't! When I pointed out explicitly there were clues in the message, she figured it out.
How did your friend respond? I would love to get such a letter.
