Dream About Another Player by SNORLAX

February 4th, 2007 2:26 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Have a dream about an SFZero player that you don't know in real life, or at least that you didn't know before joining the site. Try to describe the dream as thoroughly as possible in your proof.

I have a very tenuous relationship with the sleep world and I rarely dream, so I think I'm very fortunate to have my first and proly only SF0 dream.
I had just got back home @ 4AM from a very tiring journey out of the city and I slept well.

My dream started in a dry desert like area in the outskirts of a major city (i don't know which one). I was staying in an SF0 colony with other players. The colony was having drought and farming problems. For some reason, it was determined that these problems were spreading across the world via some sort of virus/disease from a city on the opposite coast (was i in the USofA?). For some reason, our SF0 colony was mankind's last hope. We had to build a ship to destroy the blighted city that would otherwise destroy the world. Jaschau and Glenda Jayne and many faceless equivalenz members raced to build a ship. I'm realizing now that Glenda is in UofA group (my dream was wrong!).

Eventually the ship was built and the three SF0 engineers Sam, Ian, and Sean were all captains of the ship. Then everyone realized that we needed weapons, at which point someone (i cant remember who) built (from scratch) a good supply of nuclear armaments. At that point we were ready for our mission and Sara J, Sam, and Sean were designated the official bards of our spaceship. I don't know how Sam and Sean were able to simultaneously be bards and captains, but in any case the ship was ready for takeoff. We took off and I woke up.

There is probably nothing less interesting than hearing about someone else's dream. And mine sounds like an awful sci-fi movie. I think this may be the first sf0 without piratey monkey.

i love it when dreams are funny/contradictory. plus, it's very sweet that somewhere inside you're envisioning sf0 as being mankind's last hope, and us building a noah's ark-type ship or something. also, i love voting for dreams, since most people can't control their contents.

Glenda and I are shipbuilders now?

I'm just gonna assume I was one of the faceless EquivalenZ members helping to build the ship. ... or maybe I was the ship's cat?

Our ship having a cat just adds to the awesomeness
