INSTRUCTIONS: Colour in all the bits you are familiar with. Surprise! Look at all those bits you've never explored before.

The Place

I'd like to think that I do know my area pretty well.

There are some routes that I follow everyday... Time to stray from the beaten path

Been everywhere map (not)

Since I signed up for this task about a year ago, I've done a good bit of traveling. The green is additional places I travel through to go to places I work or to friend's houses. The light blue is the area that may school buses have dropped me off at. Right next to that is the route I go the library though (my friend and I actually got jumped by some kids over there the other winter). Then, the red is all the places my friends and I, or myself alone have aimlessly wandered. We've been all through the skyways of Down Town. It is in fact a favorite hobby of ours to go there in the winter, just as they're closing (less people) and find a particularly deserted one to play a game in. Now that the weather is nice though, we tend to meander up and down the river banks more, around the mills or the Guthrie theater. Up to the far right is the Diagonal bike trail, a particular little jem we stumbled upon one day that is great for getting to the Rosedale Shopping mall. Then the red in the lower right, above the University, where last summer we went on a fun little escapade. To make a long (embarrassing) story short, one that ended with us running for our lives.

An old rail road depot we passed that got turned into condos or something.

We passed a school bus depot, interesting to see where they store these.

Can anyone get a translation for me? Or a language?

I guess I don't go over to North side that much, but there are some really nice houses over there. Here are a few we particularly liked.

Finally, after four hours of biking, I have my map filled in, or as much as I care for it to be. I guess the next step is to take and even bigger map and... GO!

Stefan also accompanied me on this bike trip and decided to make his own map. It was very similar to mine (even though the printed map was slightly larger, but we decided to go off the area of my map).

Well done!

The Kitty graffiti says "I love you cat" in Russian (я люблю тебя кошка) or in a language closely related to Russian.

Thank you very much, we were just biking along and that caught my eye.
