I read a book (Death Morris by B. A. Hodous) with a PO Box address in the back for correspondence.

I decided to hack out a story and send it.

A single piece of graph paper, printed front and back;
arabic typesetting, 9 point font;
1 inch tall x 7.25 inches wide;
3593 words, 216 sentences.
It's about witches.

This is certainly not terribly nihilistic or disruptive, but if you drop an address below, a naked one-page story will be arriving soon. It may or may not be about witches.

I'll send you my address once I've moved.
cool, do, do . . .
(buys me time to write something)
mine received as well. had it read aloud at a gathering of myself, ben yamiin, kristinawithak, tak haberdash & monkeyhero. we were all very impressed by your tale.
well played
I received some little letters in the mail yesterday. They appeared in an envelope, shown left, with a message on the back from the post office expressing their deepest apologies for the damage those little letters sustained in transit, shown right. The process of removing the tape from the story further damaged it.
The paragraph explaining why "Shit" breaks the rules was lost. As well as the return address. The upshot is, if you want your dragon, you've some info to hand over.
Will do for the address . . .
I had taken care to warn the previous recipients that the tape might devour their story, sorry I didn't do the same for your note.
"Shit" breaks the rules because shit is sexual, too.
