INSTRUCTIONS: Make something soft.

Nothing dramatic, but softness is re-achieved.

Hard chairs, hard knots

Hard chairs, hard knots

I have these wooden chairs, which are rather hard when you sit on them. Back a decade ago when I got the chairs, I also got chair cushions. Which are squishy and chenille, which is to say, soft. But after many years of hard use, the ties to keep the cushions from slipping off the chairs had pulled loose from the pillow part. Each tie was knotted into a hard knot around the chair. I untied the knots, sewed up the rips in the pillow parts, and sewed the ties back on.
