When I arrived at work this morning, I was surprised to discover fruit in the snack room! This is a fantastic start to the day, as a nice, juicy peach beats the heck out of a pop-tart or klondike bar for with your morning coffee. Well, maybe the pop-tart.

At any rate, I selected for myself a large and lovely looking peach and left for my desk. Sweet!



Unfortunately, on my way to my desk I discovered that, as beautiful as this peach was, she was still a bit unripe. I left the fuzzy beauty next to my mouse, resigned to eat her up for breakfast tomorrow or the next day, after she had softened up a little. *sigh* I'd have to eat almonds instead, nuts!



I left for my meeting, but little did I know, the monkey that I keep on my desk was covetous of that peach. I might not have been concerned, except that my desk monkey is an uncontested master of kung-fu.

This monkey wanted my breakfast so badly that he was willing to unleash the most shocking attack in his monkey-kung-fu arsenal on me, his unwitting keeper. As I returned to my PC to get to work I was struck out of the blue by something I hope to never see again...
