Language "Encryption" by anna one

June 6th, 2006 11:21 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Using online translation tools, "encrypt" some text (that you write or find) by translating it multiple times into different languages and then back into English.

For instance, "The drive to play San Francisco Zero" translated from English to German to French to Italian to English again becomes "The order of Saint game Francisco".

On my theme of Oscar Wilde quotes, I started out with:
A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal.

and after much fiddling, resulted in:

The small control is dangerous, and is most absolutely mortal.

- smaller

You may notice I'm voting on all your stuff.
I'm making my way down your (enormously long!) list of tasks, because they're all pretty awesome.

Thanks kiddo-
It's be a long, strange journey, but I'm happy here.

The small control is dangerous.
Hmm. I think that might be my new motto.
Just opaque enough for a spy.

"sincerity" became "control". Very telling.
