a dangerous task...

oh dear! what a dangerous task that was! i would consider it, but you'd
probably have to buy me a pony.

sincerely,
a girl who can recognize your handwriting

i got this email a few days after this task, but emily didn't realize that i hadn't looked at what our anonymous epistoleuses had written (we handed them postcards that were pre-stamped and ready to be mailed). even worse, i had to finish my bookclub questions before she'd tell me what the postcard said. but that's all taken care of now, and yes, that was a dangerous task, indeed...
