To the sufficiently compulsive, there's always a way.
How many fences or fire-escapes till you hit an alley? Remember, you've only got to do it once. . .
(Don't get me wrong. It's still well worth doing *even* if you allow for a repeated block by necessity. Whatever happens, don't let my late night rambling talk you out of tasking.)

I live on a dead end street, its impossible to not use at least a block or so of the same path, but I'm going to try to do this otherwise.
