I sense a growing number of bears in the SFØ community. Should I be afraid?

Dude....

You are messing with my image of being a ruthless blood thirsty pirate. How dare you show a picture of some wimpy pirate holding hands with A NINJA (gasp!)

keep that summit on the DL man.... SHEESH!

Can't we all just get along?

You mean like the manly, ruthless, bloodthirsty portrayal given by Mr. Depp?

Actually, I just think it is all sides of the same coin:

Shaaa....No I am talking about truly epic pirates such as BlackBeard, Captain Kidd, Irish Woman Grace O'Malley and the fierce pirate leader Mrs. Cheng.

(I have a bit of a pirate fetish and like to read about them...what can I say? I'm a dork)

Ahh, I understand the draw. For instance, I was so pleased to see you chose Calico Jack's flag to decorate your main page... Mary and Anne would smile, I'm sure.

In a game of charades this Saturday I proposed Calico Jack. No one could do it. Who'd a thought? Damn drunkards, no education.

I doubt most people would get Calico Jack Rackham, or Mary Read orAnne Bonny, or even Eddy Teach (for whom our own Eddy must be named). Red Rackham a certain number of folks would definitely know.

it is to bad that haddock never went pirate. If tin tin had that would have been even better. Cheng Yih Sao is still my favorite pirate along with Jack Rackham.
