Tasks / Good Morning, Sports Racers

This task is retired.

Make the earth a sandwich.

That is, place two pieces of bread on the ground. One on one side of the earth, and one directly opposite it. Perhaps use this for some help.

This would be a far harder task if it capped out at one collaborator.

Either way I like it.

If by far harder you mean basically impossible. Somebody's gonna move your piece of bread while you travel halfway across the world.

Leave one in the home of people you trust.

Although it should be noted that it's actually very, very hard as is, particularly for SF0 people - nearly everybody depends on someone in the southern hemisphere, which I believe is limited to Niallsb and Harry Lee (good luck bringing him back) - and that means the northern hemisphere bread goes in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. If they're far enough west, they might be able to leave one piece opposite Bermuda, which is lacking in players.

Although if you can get one collaborator in New Zealand, Auckland is directly opposite a rural piece of Andalusia, while Westport would require the other slice of bread to be in northern Portugal; either of these European destinations is reachable if UK0 plans the right vacation.

There is a tool, and preexisting challenge to do precisely this. There are remarkably few landmasses with land opposite them:

It might be possible to do Northern Spain and New Zealand, South America and Southeast Asia (Argentina and China, S. Korea, Thailand...). Without a boat this one is really difficult.
