Tasks / Fruit Invasion

Purchase/aquire many (a pound or two) small fruits (I've found kumquats to be very appropriate) which will not easily be squished. Slip them into strangers' pockets, tie them by threads from trees, or in some other manner help fruit invade the city.

What is up with these small collaborator upper limits? I mean seriously, this is an invasion. 3 people? For an invasion?

you have to invade in cells. there can be 1,000 cells in your invasion, but each cell has only 3 people, and those people know only one other cell each, so no one person can betray the entire organization. cunning, Inktea. #thefruitisaharshmistress

In order to honor the labor of fruit, and all it does for us, several SF0-ers decided to help fruit invade the city of Chicago. Since fruit normally grows on land, and has already done a decidedly good job of "invading" there, Dela Dejavoo, Happy Mc...

This was great. We made some banana trees, grape trees, and mushroom trees. It looked really funny. They were all around haight/divis and haight/fillmore. None actually on haight. Mostly on Page. User Joe Mama found the bananas and gave me one of the...

I heard from Rongo Rongo that Kate Saturday had requested watermelon scaling a building. Rongo wanted to do it, but she couldn't figure out how to manage the feat without the risk someone getting hit by a falling watermelon. Luckily for everyone, oct...

Autumn is a great time for fruit invasion. And apples have a lot of pent-up aggression. (See the pictures for the full apple adventure.)

It says 1-3, but i'm sure we can bend it somehow... Death sez: Well, it's been about 2 months since we did this, and everyone (including me) have been to lazy to do anything bout' the write up. So I decided to get started. In many cases, including t...

My approach to this task was to take something that was not a tree and make it bear fruit like one, in such a way as to encourage passersby to pick them. I went to the ferry building and hunted for a suitable fruit -- something easy to peel so peopl...
