Ask another player to make you cry in public, somehow. Then have that player ask others to console you.
It may be advantageous for the collaborators to have some sort of personal relationship (love?) that could be leveraged to induce crying. Crocodile tears are acceptable as a last resort, but only if real sobbing is attempted and fails.
