Wait a second... what exactly is this book bound in? The leather feels... funny.
Make a Medicine or First Aid roll. And then a Sanity Check.
Wait a second... This isn't human tissue, it's kleenex tissue!
If someone makes a book bound in human flesh and inked in blood, I will freak.
Provided they then use it to unwittingly possess the occupants of a cabin in the woods and get sent back to medieval England.
If someone makes a book bound in human flesh and inked in blood, I will freak.
Hm. I had been thinking about doing something involving homemade paper, but this would be good too...
If someone makes a book in human skin, I will vote and then call the police.
Wow, access to the blood bank I have...
Tom: Yes
Susy: Do you have access to a human skin bank?
If so - awesome.
Human skin too, yes. Not bank but, erm, freshly harvested? I mean, it is an out-patient procedure... It would be a small book, though.
What we really need are plastic surgeons.

Actually, I'm so doing that. Don't anyone else do that, or I'll know.
Because, you know, you'll submit the proof.
Besides going the mammalian route for blood and flesh, rongo rongo basically just did the invertebrate version of this, no?
Anyone making a book out of haste this November?
I've thought about doing it every year, but November is a really bad month for me to do anything other than work. We'll see I suppose.
Mine always explode from frustration by the fifth page.
Did the task in 2007...might try again in 2009, but it's kind of a big commitment.

I was so happy to see this task appear - I was just thinking of ways to zero-level the old form of this task, and this way I get points.... Anyway, I was thinking about a few different materials for this one. i had hoped to get my letter punches in ...

Alrighty. They always say that the second time is the best time. And for this second time, I went all out. This is a book on how you should play SF0 CORRECTLY. It covers a lot of ground, including some fun gaps in the famous non-secret rules....

The Transparent Man, by Anthony Hecht. Clear Edition There are countless good reasons books are not made of glass, and I believe I encountered most of them. But I had stumbled upon this poem and become enamored with it in spite of my usual loathin...

May I present to you the essential, purest, shortest storyline behind every (heterosexual) romance novel, from crappy to Shakespeare. Translated into pictogram format, and hand-painted onto... juvenile squirrels. Boy And Girl Fall In Love. Or, ...

Before I explain what I did for this, I think I should explain how my mind works, a little bit. I have always been a hyper-intuitive thinker. By that I mean that a hundred random thoughts drift through my head and go off on bunny trails constantly, s...

Tale of a renegade expatriate University lecturer in Oman defying censorship laws for the sake of tasking! :) First the logistics: Stores and supplies are scarce in Oman, but as scarcity is the mother of all invention I decided the first thing t...

One night, after having returned to the Skype chat to defend against accusations that I'm Teucer's sockpuppet: [8/31/10 8:44:55 PM] JJason: Ok it's been like a year since I last did a proper task [8/31/10 8:45:08 PM] JJason: So I need a task for my t...

Welcome to the Game! I am expecting big things from you.

Four Story Stud Being a voracious reader and verbose, if intermittent, writer, this task seemed particularly promising. It was a lonely Saturday evening, so I headed out to the local coffee shop to break some writers block. What to write seemed anc...
