Nah, some tasks should be carefully planned.
Others, they just happen. Like the time I taught myself to weave in my hotel room. (Minipraxis soon.)

Agree with Dok almost completely. I prefer a well though out, planned task.
Spontaneity is fun, but often lacks in awesome and/or documentation.
Arguably, if your tasking isn't spontaneous, you're doing it wrong.
