Well its not so scary. In fact he's a little cute. But who knows what beast of the wild waits patiently until the next time. It is the unknown that scares me and my paranoia that I truly feed.

Notice he has been hanging out for over three hours before he actually touches the chicken. I think every time the flash went off he had to get up his nerve again.

This was failed attempt #1 different camera infrared flash all pictures black, chicken gone. I uploaded in case someone can work some low light magic. I have more.

This one is spot. What makes a 6 inch scar on the side of a fox? I wonder if he can be tamed?

That is so kind.
I still have the camera up trying different positions but now am putting out dog food. I'm hoping for scary but just keep getting foxes. One has a scar and I've named him Spot.
