Shane challenged me ta' do this whole praxis as a pirate, and, bein' the accommodating captain I am, I accepted his challenge. It would be most kind of you ta' read it in an acceptably seaworty manner.

It's rapidly becoming a theme amongst me and my crewmen to collaborate in a big way by building vessels to sail the salty seas and, to solidify this, I'm presentin' our second boat, the Atlantis II.

This seafaring beauty was constructed by a dastardly crew of the swarthiest, most mean, most rugged sea dogs to ever pillage a piratey thing! The building of the boat took a week, during which we slapped her together out of plywood, gorilla tape, nails, screws, epoxy and pure spunk. We filled 'er with bottles, Styrofoam, and gave our floating beauty a nice paint job to doll 'er up.

The day we set off was as good as any old salt could ask for. A sunny 94 degrees of heat was shinin' down and the winds were enough to fill our (non existent) sails. We sailed a grand total of 1.5 miles before docking at the Lake Houston Marina. Unfortunately the camera man in the crows nest let his pictorial spyglass run low on batteries and fail as we traded crewsmen at the mid way point.

The boat was a fine success and is enough to make all the other captains jealous. I couldn't be more pleased with her construction or her progress.
