Fortune Not Cookie by Billie Murdoch

March 27th, 2009 12:22 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Install fortunes of your devising in permanent or non-permanent media in openable structures, such that passersby will come across them.

Media. Hmm. What better or more efficient way to give people something positive to read than by using a library? My stop: The Salvation Army.

I had no idea the Salvation Army was so... um... Christian, before. But now that I know I feel that much better about bleeding positivity into their literature collection.

I hope these aren't too big... also, please excuse the poor quality photography; my camera chose this very moment to take a big, nasty poop on me, so my phone was all I had.

I was doing a fairly good job being quiet and going unnoticed, but the friendly librarian started up a conversation with me. I finally gave in and told her what I was doing, and much to my surprise, she joined me. :D

And this is me, albeit sideways, photo courtesy of awesome librarian:

The obstacle is a sign that you're doing something right. Don't stop. Keep going.

Is it just me that can't see any of these photos?

The URLs you give for the images are on a session-ID protected server, and the validation has expired. You should upload the images to the task directly, under the "Manage Files" tab when you edit this praxis, then they will be hosted locally on the SF0 servers.

The non-player involvement catapults this up to a 5-pointer for me.
