So my husband wakes me up with breakfast in bed.
Amazing considering he refuses to cook 90% of the time.
It was freaking delicious.



Then we sit around and don't do much of anything. I look on CL for a new job, call some people, blah blah blah. Entirely unfruitful.

I played with the cats a bit.


Then I got really bored and went out. I thought maybe I'd do "One Letter Off" while I was out, but come to find out I left my media card in the card reader when I left, so I was taking shots of nothing. I saw some good ones, too! "Hammer's Snog Check" (Smog) was one, and "PEDO XING" was the other...



So I have no pictures of going out, but there are my abandoned skates and backpack. I picked some sage (it isn't white sage, it's whatever weird kind grows all the fuck over lake Cachuma) while I was out and bunched it into my backpack, so at least I did -something- productive.

After that there was much dicking around and accomplishing nothing.

Then I decided to write some music because I haven't been successful with that lately and I should break the trend. A friend of mine (from Sweden) has been trying to replicate the sound of one of the previous bands of the lead singer/rhythm guitarist of his favourite band (the band is called Masugn [for those of you that can't speak Swedish, it's pronounced like, "moss-OOGN" with the G and N as one sound]). I gave it a whirl and came up with this:

So now that I'm really tired of cataloging the whole day, I'll wrap this up.

So aside from making breakfast, fighting with the scanner and giving up, and yelling at his cat for picking on mine, my husband has been playing Spore all day. Usually he writes/draws/whatever, but it's a no-hassle day (one day out of the week is no-hassle day, Saturday, while the rest of the week is worry about everything and try to get stuff done day), so I can't pry him away from his computer (even to write his half of the post).

Now we're going to take a shower, stare at our computers for another several hours, and go to bed. Not in any particular order, mind you...

I promise you we're not this lazy or unkempt on a regular basis.
