your literal approach was fantastic.

First, well done!

Second, out of curiosity, who is the composer?

And third, those look like some beastly sixtuplet licks in the first picture. I also spy a little 32nd note bit on the 6th line down. Looks like a few tough spots, in that piece. But then again, I know very little about playing French Horn (I am but a lowly percussionist/conductor).

Till Eulenspiegel was written by Richard Strauss.

Some of it is tough...some of the downward glisses skip around a lot and so the intervals are strange. More chromatic-like runs are usually a lot easier.
