Trespassing by Iaman

Alright, just so you know, this task has been performed as part of two other tasks, Up and Up and... Up, and Capture a Flag. As such, I will only tell part of the epic tale in this description, and you will have to click those links for the full story. This is the beginning, so you can start here. The Capture a Flag task is what inspired this amazing chain of events, and I thank Peter Harmon for having commented on it so I could see it when I went to his page and be inspired to do this.
Stage 1: The FormativeYearsHour
Upon seeing the Capture a Flag test, I immediately knew that I had to complete it. Not only did I have to complete it, but I felt the need to push myself to the extreme with this one. Looking at other tasks, I eventually found the Up and Up and... Up task, and my heart became set upon involving climbing in this task, at least thirty feet of it. Knowing that MOST flags tend to be on top of something, I deduced that this wouldn't be terribly hard. Already knowing about the Trespassing task, I also felt that I should somehow try and incorporate that, too. With these in mind, I set out to find my flag.
Stage 2: Surveillance
Wandering around Lincoln Park for a while, I did not manage to find anything I felt was enough of a challenge. I stopped over at the DePaul Student Center to get a cup of tea and a bagel, and I proceeded to drink and eat them, respectively. As I walked out the door of the Student Center and headed back to my apartment, I chanced a look down Belden. Lo and behold, I spotted a crane! Suddenly, I remembered that DePaul had construction going on just off of Belden. I strolled down Belden, hung a right into the quad, and snapped a quick picture of the site.

I knew immediately that this was perfect. You can even see the string of flags across the rooftop, which I planned to abduct. I then left the scene and headed back to my apartment for the rest of the day.
Stage 3: The Execution
Time came for me to do the dastardly deed, and so I faced it with resolve. Adjusting my kitten ears, throwing dark pajama pants over my khakis, donning black gloves, and throwing my scissors and camera in my bag, I left the apartment. After circling the block like a vulture, I went in for my strike. Climbing over the fence, I made my way into the area. The following pictures should prove the validity of this, though they are dark, and the events that came to pass afterwards shall also prove that I did, indeed, make it into the site.
This story continues in the Up and Up and... Up task.
