Document Future by Hey Man Jackson, Meta tron

November 3rd, 2007 11:46 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Document an instance of the Future.

I undertook this task as my collaborative project for SF0 Mentor: A Noob No More. I am still attempting to post my proof for that task, but I continue to be blockaded by my inability to add Meta Tron (Mink) as a collaborator. My first documentation of future spills forth thus: "I will figure out how to add Meta Tron as a collaborator and will be one step closer to being a Noob-No-More."

Wondering: could one regain Noob status after achieving mastery? If you find the Buddha on SF0, should you delete her profile?

Future: (n) future, hereafter, futurity, time to come (the time yet to come).

I hereby declare, on 3 November, 2007, at 18:38GMT that you, future being, who is reading this missive from the distant(?) past, are a player in the game of SF0, and will subsequently vote, comment, flag, or completely disregard this plea for points and attention from my fellow SF0 universarians.

Three heads and eight arms may be yesterday's time. The eight- or
sixteen-foot body may be today's time. Yet yesterday and today are both in
the moment when you directly enter the mountains and see thousands and
myriads of peaks. Yesterday's time and today's time do not go away.
Three heads and eight arms move forward as your time-being. It looks as
if they are far away, but they are here and now. The eight- or sixteen-foot
body moves forward as your time-being. It looks as if it is nearby, but it
is exactly here. Thus, a pine tree is time, bamboo is time.

The Time-Being

Mink humbly insists she's had no influence on my completion of Documenting Future. I humbly disagree.

Perhaps it is difficult for an experienced player to mentally revisit the praxis paralysis resulting from the vast sense of openness upon embarking on a new task.

That paralysis I did feel, and therefore credit Mink as a necessary sounding board for my completion of Documenting Future.

I guess you can't add Mink as a mentor because she's already completed the mentor task.

Mink, well done for your remote inspiration again!

Unfortunate.

This praxis does not document an instance of the Future.

It only validates a notion of the past and present.

the Future only has seven legs.

Un fortune ate

Seven legs, yes...

But three heads and eight arms as well...

And I knew you might comment, too! I declared it in what is now the past, but was then the future. My prophecy came true!

Are any of these proofs worth Randi's Million?
