Office Scavenger Hunt by Lank

This was fun!
So it was a slow Friday today, and without much work to do, my mind wandered to tasking...
Time for a Scavenger Hunt!
Mine is not a large office. I work at a facility that does tape and DVD duplication. At work today were myself, Brenda, Scotty, John, Jorge, Brian, Armand and Johnny. So I announced an all-employee scavenger hunt to commence at 3pm. Everyone agreed, with varying degrees of excitement. Some lit up at hearing what the winner would receive - ice cream!
The rules were simple: Secure as many items from the list of ten as possible between 3pm and 4pm. Whoever finds the most items wins ice cream!
We got a late start due to lunch schedules. So we actually started at 3:45. I extended the due time to 4:15, thinking 1/2 an hour would be just enough time for folks to frantically find stuff. Start time arrived and the lists were disseminated. The list was this:
1. A business card for someone whose name begins with the letter P
2. A tool that you would find in a hardware store
3. A sticker that is not ours
4. Candy
5. Something you wish you owned
6. A used fast food drink cup
7. A book that is not work-related
8. Something that has been here for more than eight years
9. An animal (not a co-worker!)
10. A tape with a name on it that also appears in the Bible
3:45 - And they're off! I didn't actually play because I thought I had an unfair advantage and somebody had to run the game. Brenda didn't seem to want to get out of her chair - she was too busy being mad at MySpace (busy busy busy!) and John had to take a phone call. Jorge got a late start because he took kind of a long lunch break (he was the one we were waiting for). Watching everyone else tear apart the office was fun, though!
4:10 - Brian, Scotty, Armand and Johnny are scurrying around with their hands full of junk. Jorge comes back from lunch finally and gets to work (on the scavenger hunt, of course). I add 5 minutes to the clock for Jorge's sake, but by this time I think the place has been ransacked for anything on the list.
4:20 - Time's up! Turn in yer stuff! See photos below for the stashes collected. Brian and Scotty tied for 1st place, each finding 9 of the 10 items. Johnny was runner-up with 8. But I'm such a softy, I got ice cream for everybody!

I wish I could do this at my work…
Sadly my work is a scavenger hunt free zone!
Well executed!
