Fancy footwear at Angel tube station. Angel is a slightly odd place to see a lady dressed like this, I thought she looked pretty cool and decided to go over and tell her this, the conversation went something like this.
Mink: "Um.. Hello, this might seem a bit weird but - well - I think that if you see someone and you think they look really cool you should go over and say so. You look really pretty."
Lady (who had been looking a bit wary as to why I'd come over): "Wow, thanks. : ) I agree, people should try not to be shy about complimenting others."
Mink: "Are you going out somewhere special?"
Lady: "No, I'm just meeting a friend for dinner"
Mink: "Ah cool, well have a nice time, it was nice chatting to you. Oh, can I take your photo?"
Lady: "Sure thing, nice chatting to you too."
Well there you go, there is at least one other Londoner who is nice to strangers. And as a bonus she has cool shoes.

Applause for awesome shoes.
I should have done this on the tube from Brixton after the Sexpsitols. There were some damn cool shoes there.

there's something to be said when shoes like those are the least fancy part of the outfit/self. I'd love the opportunity to sit down with her and ... um ... rate each focal point on a 1-10 scale for fanciness. I'm sure the shoes wouldn't come anywhere near most fancy...

I would award this young woman a B- for her footwear selection, but I give her an A for her lovely tattoos.
