A Clue by YellowBear

I must start by thanking Lincoln for giving me such a lovely set of clues to follow!
He went to such an effort putting together this surprise and it was a great way to start my Saturday
Just as I was leaving my house I found a note taped to my door.

Wonderful! Looks like I am off on an adventure!
So I walked up to the top of the hill

And Looked for a note

This note told me to go to the Washington Mutual on 19th & Noriega and look in the last deposit envelope on the right

So thats where I went

Where Sure Enough I Found Another Envelope!

Where I Found A Note Behind The Digital Sign, Sending me to A Park In The Sunset With a Baseball Diamond.
I thought I had this one, no prob. Unfortunately it wasn't as easy as I had hoped. Saturday afternoon they were playing baseball. We went to five different baseball diamonds, out onto the field as young ones were playing ball, parents scratching their heads. No luck!
-
We hit every baseball diamond I could think of, then we stopped at the police station to see if they could give us any guidance. We checked their map and went to one more spot. UGH! Nothing.
I was exasperated and ready to give our sleuthing a rest, until Bex suggested that we call Gumshoe Loki to see if the ACME detective agency might be able to shed some light on the matter. Thanks to his brilliant gumshoe skills, he got us back on track and sent us down to the right field.
-
Sure enough just as described, next to a metal grate in deep center
field there was a caped pipe with a soggy note tucked next to it

Off to 31st and Judah! Thank goodness, the Gumshoe was able to help me. Found the Chinese video store, and the mailbox in question.

Another Note, And We Our On Our Way. Off to a fire alarm on Lincoln.
This is so delightful!! I Wonder Where We are going to end up?

-
-
I found it tucked right behind the box next to the pole
-
We're headed for the last stop! Doorhenge!
I was getting very excited, I was about to get a prize and find out who I had to thank for all this fun! I love surprise tasking adventures!
We got down to Biome garden and there were five very nice people having a picnic wondering why I was holding up a letter and frantically digging around the tree stumps. I told them I was sent here on a scavenger hunt and they all smiled and said how lovely they thought that sounded. I agreed and kept on poking around

A Little Bear Button...And A STRING!!

Ah I disagree, I always had the idea of combining Leave Clues and A Clue, I actually thought they were made for each other. This is such a lovely completion. One that makes you crave for sunny Saturdays.
I dig the idea of tasks being intertwined like this... Really "Leave a Clue" and "A Clue" have nothing to do with one another except the word (and idea) of clue. Joining them like this and letting us see this story from multiple angles is just wonderful. Thanks! And welcome back Yellowbear!
